About Forge

Forge is an independent community project operated from India. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Facepunch Studios or Valve. While playing, you must also follow the Rust End User License Agreement and the Steam Subscriber Agreement.

Who can play

You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, you need the consent of a parent or guardian.

Your account

Your Steam account is your Forge account. You are responsible for everything done with it on our servers. Ranked ratings belong to the player who earned them: do not share accounts, play on someone else's account, or use a second account to avoid your rating.

Rules of conduct

You must not:

• use cheats, scripts, macros, or any third-party software or hardware that gives you an advantage;
• exploit bugs or glitches (report them to us instead);
• boost, win-trade, throw matches, or otherwise manipulate ratings or leaderboards;
• evade a ban or other restriction, including by using another account;
• harass, threaten or abuse other players, or post hate speech or personal information about anyone;
• impersonate Forge staff or other players;
• spam, advertise, or promote other servers or services;
• attack, overload or interfere with our servers, website or other players' connections.

Enforcement

If you break these rules, we may warn, mute or kick you, reset your stats or rating, remove you from leaderboards, or ban you temporarily or permanently. We decide what action to take, and we may act without prior notice. To appeal, email contact@sweven.dev.

Wipes, ratings and stats

Ratings and per-mode stats reset at every monthly force wipe. We may correct or remove stats and ratings affected by bugs or rule breaking. Ratings, ranks, tiers and stats have no monetary value and cannot be sold or transferred.

Availability

Forge is free to play and provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Servers may restart, go down, or change without notice, and we may change, suspend or end any part of Forge at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Forge and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of Forge, including lost progress, stats or ratings. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page. If you continue to play after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India. This does not remove any consumer rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
